Best Practices

When in the hiring process should I test my candidates?

We generally recommend testing applicants as early in the hiring process as possible to get the most value out of testing. This allows you to filter out the candidates that don't meet your cut-off scores and narrow down the list of people you'd like to interview. If you choose, you can retest your candidates on-site later in the process to verify their scores.

How much time should a test battery take for candidates?

We recommend keeping your test batteries under a total of about 45 minutes. While candidate drop-off is minimal, it tends to increase after the total test time lasts longer than 45 minutes. Learn more.

My candidate has reported that they have a disability or impairment. How can I accommodate them through the recruitment process?

Criteria Corporation understands that certain cases may warrant accommodations for candidates during the recruitment process. To learn more about the options that Criteria can provide, please contact our team.
