Share a candidate's video interview responses

You can share a candidate's responses to video interview questions with the hiring manager or another user in your Criteria account. This can only be done if:

  • You are an evaluator in the job and you have submitted your evaluation of the candidate's interview.
  • You are an admin user but not an evaluator in the job.
  • You created the job or the job has been shared with you but you are not an evaluator in the job.
  1. Within the job, open the candidate's card by clicking on their name.
  2. In the Results tab, click Video Interview, then select Evaluators or Score (the option to share can be accessed from either of these).
  3. Click Review Responses.
  4. This opens the interview, where you can view the candidate's responses to the questions. In the top right corner, click Share.
  5. Enter the email addresses of the people you are sharing the responses with, hitting Enter after each address. If the recipient is a user in your account, you can select them by name. However, recipients do not need to have access to your Criteria Platform account.
  6. Add an optional message and click Send Link.
  7. The people you have shared the candidate's responses with will receive an email with a link to view these. They will not have the ability to rate the candidate or enter comments, nor will they see any evaluations, scores, comments or recommendations made by the evaluators.

Reports

There are several ways to download your candidates' results for the video interview from your Criteria account. For example, to share the evaluators' ratings and comments with the hiring manager.

Spreadsheet of results

You can download a spreadsheet of your candidates' video interview results from the Reports section under Manage. There are two reports for video interview results. The option you select will depend on your reporting needs.

Test Data Report

The Test Data Report allows you to view selected assessment and video interview scores for candidates matching your desired parameters., as well as their responses to the application questions. Click here to learn more about creating this type of report.

The following data points relating to video interviews can be included in this report:

  • VI Total Score
  • VI Question Rating
  • VI Recommendation
  • VI Completed Timestamp
  • VI Expiration Date

The Test Data Report has some key advantages:

  • This report is most useful if your candidates have also completed assessments and/or an application form. You can include key details regarding their results for each step of the recruitment process in one spreadsheet.
  • Results for candidates who completed the video interview (and other tasks) across multiple jobs can be included in one report.
  • You can schedule the report to run on a regular basis and email you the results.
Interview Data Report

The Interview Data Report allows you to export your candidates' interview results for a specific job. This report provides additional information that is not available in the Test Data Report and can be run for the whole period the job has existed.

  1. To create this report, go to Manage in the top menu and select Reports from the dropdown list.
  2. Click Create Report in the top right corner, then select Interview Data Report from the list.
  3. Choose the job you want to run the report for from the dropdown list. Set the date range for the report.
  4. Click Export. Once the report has been generated, it will be emailed to your registered email address.

This report contains the following data points. (Note: items marked * are also available in the Test Data Report but may be presented in a different format.)

  • Candidate name and email*
  • Position name*
  • Video interview template name
  • Event Status (has the candidate completed the interview?)*
  • Evaluation Overall Status (have the minimum number of required evaluations been submitted?)
  • Pipeline stage the candidate is in when the report is run*
  • Test-Taker and Event IDs*
  • Date interview scheduled, Date completed by candidate, Expiry date of invitation*
  • Total video interview score*
  • Final Recommendations* (separated into different columns here)
  • Final Recommendation and Question Rating for each evaluator
  • Question Rating averages across all evaluators

PDF reports

You can also download pdf reports of your candidates' results.

On the Results screen, navigate to the candidate's card and click on the Results tab.

On the Summary tab, click Download this Summary to generate a pdf version of this report.

Click Video Interview and select Score from the dropdown.

Click Download this Report to generate a pdf version of this report.

Bulk report download

Downloading candidate results individually can take time, so if you have more than a few candidates, we recommend using the bulk download option.

On the Results page, tick the box to select all the candidates whose results you want to download. If you are downloading all candidates with the same status, tick the box next to the search field. (Note that the limit is 50 candidates per download so if you have more than 50 candidates, you will need to complete this in batches.)

Click Bulk Actions and select Download Test Results from the dropdown list.

Select which documents you want to download and click Download.

A zip folder containing the pdf files will be downloaded to your device. Note that if your candidates have completed assessments and a video interview, the Summary reports and Score reports for each of these will be created as separate pdf files.

Share a candidate's results

Sharing your candidates' results for a video interview with the hiring manager is easy, using the Bulk Actions function in your Results page. Click here to learn how.
