How To Interpret The Weekly Manager Check-ins Reports

Updated by Amy Thomas

Weekly Manager Check-ins reports from Coach Bo provide actionable insights into workforce health, team performance, and organizational patterns. Each report type is tailored to different leadership levels, with specific information designed to drive meaningful action. These guides walk you through each report type and how to interpret and act on the data you receive.

Coach Bo delivers three distinct report types, each customized to the priorities and span of control for different leadership levels. Each report follows a consistent structure designed to move you from insight to action in minimal time.

Report Type

Who Receives It

What It Contains

Team Leader Reports

Anyone who manages direct reports OR leads a team

Summary of your direct team's check-ins, individual focus areas, recommended actions

Senior Manager Reports

Only managers of managers (hierarchical)

Cross-team patterns, roll-up insights, broader organizational trends

Executive Reports

Admin users or selected specific users (for example, C-suite executives)

Organization wide insights, themes, and sentiments

Here are some edge cases:

  • Managing 5 direct reports AND leading a cross-functional team? You'll receive two separate Team Leader reports (one for each group).
  • Managing multiple teams where everyone is an individual contributor (IC)? You will receive Team Leader reports only (Senior Manager Reports requires managing other managers).
